The best way to learn to eat properly

After many years of experience, as Biologist Analyst, in the laboratories analysis of the city of San Benedetto del Tronto ("Clini-Test", "Ormo-diagnostics", "Bios" and "Casa di Cura Clinica Villa Anna") Doctor Maria Lucia Gaetani has completed her training, as a nutritionist biologist, working at the Diabetological Center of the Civil Hospital, where she acquired the knowledge on the nutritional treatment of the diabetic patient and on the formulation of an adequate diet and proper eating behavior. In addition, she has been the organizer and teacher, in collaboration with the dieticians of the Diabetology Department of the Civil Hospital of San Benedetto del Tronto, of numerous Courses on Nutrition for elementary and middle schools in the city, promoted by the Marche Region and addressed to the parents of the children of these schools on the theme: "Feeding children outside and inside the school". She has collaborated as a Nutritionist with the Nursing Home "Clinica Stella Maris" of San Benedetto del Tronto in the formulation of diets for the departments of Medicine, Surgery and Obstetrics-Gynecology. She has participated in the realization of the scientific part of the project of food education in elementary schools entitled "The lesson is eating" for the Conad Adriatico for which, since 2010, she conducts classes as a teacher in both Marche and Abruzzo regions. She has held information courses on food education for young athletes of the Tennis Club Maggioni of San Benedetto del Tronto and children of the Football School of the Sports Club Ragnola and several cycles of lessons on food education in Curzi Middle School of San Benedetto del Tronto. The study, where Doctor Gaetani currently carries out the profession of Biologist Nutritionist, enrolled in the Professional Register of Biologists (N.047983), is in the city center of San Benedetto del Tronto (Via Solferino, 17 - Piazza Ancona). The services offered include: a first complete visit, with a temporary diet to follow while waiting for the personalized one; the delivery and the explanation of personalized diet, according to the nutritional needs of the patient and its characteristics (age, lifestyle, pathologies, relationship with food...); control visits from 2/3 weeks up to a month, depending on the case. The goal that the doctor intends to achieve through nutritional counseling is not only to make her patients lose weight, but to make them learn to eat properly, maintaining or improving their psycho-physical state, through a mutually agreed path of nutritional education and rehabilitation.
